The skilled development team at Saatchi & Saatchi invited me to work on a fascinating project, transforming After Effects videos into HTML5 versions, compatible with a custom editing tool. The tool empowers clients to dynamically produce video content through a web application.
My job was to recreate product videos animated in After Effects - using HTML5 - so the image and text content could be dynamically changed through a web browser interface.
HTML | CSS | Javascript | GSAP | After Effects
Template code that matches Affect Effects animation as closely as possible, injecting all text and imagery via a data object. One key obstacle was translating effects like colour gradients to dynamic format content according to varying user inputs like prices. Additionally, replicating actions like hand movements and confetti exclusively using HTML5 posed challenges. While I can't share exhaustive details about the product's inner workings, I can reveal that this endeavor was both enjoyable and demanding.
